Земляничный чай на квартире у Helen. With pleasure!

вчера с Серёжей [info]sergiusprimus чаёвничали у дорогой Helen Womack [info]nelen
Helen подарила мне книгу " LOST ICONS " архиепископа кентерберрийского Роуэна Уильямса ( про утрату людьми духовных ценностей) , а Серёже " The God is delusion" Доукинса и ещё что-то. Элен говорит,что даже ей труд "lost Icons" показался местами очень сложным для восприятия. У меня будет стимул читать внимательнее...
Ещё обсуждали будущий концерт в студии Дяди Коли [info]hitrovka( Если кто не в курсе, ему и его команде удалось собрать 12 000 подписей жителей Москвы против постройки бетонно-стеклянного торгового центра на Хитровской площади).
На концерте сначала мы с Серёжей отыграем на замечательном хитровском фортепьяно,а затем во дворе хитровского дома будет показан фильм про Москву под граммафон

Adorable pussycat!! In Europe cats are loved or just respected somehow, but, as Mikes says, in England they're totally worshipped as in ancient Egypt))) So it is!!


Splendid evening we've had yesterday, didn't we?

Hi Foxy, I hope you and Sergei are not too disappointed about the concert. Kolya is indeed very tired now after fighting to save Hitrovka. We can still do the concert at the start of the new season in autumn. Perhaps this will be even better because more people will be in town to come and hear us. I am learning two Russian songs -- one by Prokofiev and one by Glinka, so that I can sing a little bit with you in the concert. So don't give up hope and have a lovely summer.

Oh, I just meant enjoy the sun. You have plenty of hope to see me here this summer because I am not going anywhere. Good news about the Italians :))
